One of Honiton’s best-known buildings could be in line for a facelift. Copper Castle, at the top of Kings Road, is the subject of a Listed Building Consent application. Located next to the town’s former tolls gates, the building is is a private dwelling. The applicant is seeking permission to repair and replace the ex-toll house’s existing render. The application also includes the addition of castellation to a single-storey roof and a replacement porch.
