When commuters woke on Tuesday morning (January 27), many found their towns and villages cut off after deep floodwater made main routes and back roads impassable. The now-forlorn festive items can be left at nine designated sites in Axminster, Broadclyst, Budleigh Salterton, Cranbrook, Exmouth, Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Seaton and Sidmouth.
