Woman made to hand over jewellery after robbers force their way into Exeter home

A robbery victim was made to hand over her gold jewellery when two men forced their way into her home in Exeter on Monday (July 15).

Police are investigating the incident in Blackboy Road and have appealed for information.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to hear from anyone who was walking or driving in the Blackboy Road area between 5pm and 5.30pm.

“Two suspects forced their way into a property in the road and made the female victim hand over her jewellery, leaving her extremely distressed.

“The suspects are described as white males in dark clothing, one of whom was wearing a baseball cap.

“Gold bracelets, a gold necklace and ring, and a handbag were stolen.”
