Children’s netball in Honiton has been given a boost after a housing developer funded new kit for a club’s under-11 team. Honiton Netball Club, founded in 2011, said was ‘thrilled’ to have the backing of Taylor Wimpey Exeter, who donated £350 to help pay for the team’s new kit. The developer, building in the town, said it hoped the donation would help the under-11 team during its upcoming season. Some 124 matches played in this season’s Honiton Netball League Honiton Netball League winter season 2018/19 has come to an end. Twenty-four teams played a combined total of 124 matches, and that number of sides makes it the busiest season the league has ever seen. The league was played out across three divisions and, in the top tier, it was as close as ever; with just four points separating the top three teams in the final table.
