Police investigating a mass fight on Exmouth seafront in May have launched a fresh appeal after a teenager was knocked unconscious and a man suffered a broken jaw.
The seafront brawl broke out near the clocktower and eyewitnesses at the time reported seeing a large group of teenagers fighting and youths covered in blood.
Now two months on, police want to hear from any seafront drivers who may have the brawl recorded on their dashcam.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following an assault on the Exmouth seafront.
“On the evening of Tuesday 26 May a fight took place between two groups of males on Queen Drive, Esplanade.
“During the disorder an 18-year-old man was assaulted against a car and knocked unconscious.
“Another man suffered a broken jaw following a punch in the same fight.
“It is believed a number of cars were driving in the area at the time, and it is hoped some of them may have recorded relevant dash-cam footage.”

The fight resulted in the emergency services being called to the seafront at 7.40pm on May 26, after four people were injured.
Fighting youths were seen with blood on their beachwear and towels.
Police at the time said two 18-year-old men suffered serious facial injuries and were taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. A teenage girl and a man in his 40s were left with minor injuries.
