Football fever sweeping the nation has found its way to The Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth, showing Match of the Bray support for the England players ahead of the quarter finals on Saturday (July 11).
As these photos show, the four-legged footie fans have been showing off their fancy hoof-work and ball skills, in support of the Three Lions stars’ battle to bring it home.

A spokesman for The Donkey Sanctuary said: “Donkeys are naturally alert, sure-footed and great communicators, they thrive as part of a team and stay calm under pressure – all qualities any footballer would be proud of.
“While it’s anyone’s guess which teams they are cheering on, one thing is clear: if ‘donkey’ is shouted from the terraces this tournament, it might just be the ultimate compliment.”
He added: “These playful activities form part of the sanctuary’s wider enrichment programme, providing opportunities for donkeys to interact with their environment, make choices and to be more mentally and physically active.”
