A motorcyclist and his pillion passenger were seriously injured and remain in hospital after they were involved in a crash with a car in Seaton.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash on Harepath Hill on Saturday morning (April 18) and want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or with dashcam footage.
The road was closed for several hours while investigations were carried out at the crash scene.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police are appealing for witness and information following a serious collision on the A3052 approaching Harepath Hill, Seaton.
“The incident occurred at around 10.40am on Saturday 18 April and involved a car and a motorbike.
“The rider and pillion passenger of the bike, a man and a woman, sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital where they remain.”
The spokesperson added: “Officers from the roads policing team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst the road was closed for an investigation to be carried out at the scene.”
