A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash near Exmouth.
Police are appealing for information after a Nissan car was on Monday evening (March 30) involved in a collision with a pedestrian in Old Ebford Lane.
Investigating officers are appealing for any witnesses to the crash to get in touch.
The road was closed for several hours, reopening in the early hours of Tuesday morning, while crash scene investigations were carried out.
Old Ebford Lane, is off the A376 road to Exmouth.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We are investigating a serious road traffic collision in Exmouth and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
“Officers were called to the collision at around 6.45pm on Monday 30 March on Old Ebford Lane, Exmouth, which involved a grey Nissan Leaf and a pedestrian.
“The pedestrian, a local woman in her 20s, sustained suspected life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
“The road remained closed whilst collision investigation work was carried out and was reopened at 12.30am on Tuesday 31 March.”
