Abby Gould, Battle Cancer Program coordinator, at the gym, said: “Unlike traditional exercise classes, the Battle Cancer Program is fully adaptable to suit all abilities, limitations, and levels of experience. Each session is led by qualified coaches who understand the challenges of cancer recovery and are trained to support participants both physically and emotionally.
“The programme aims to provide more than just physical support. It creates a welcoming space where individuals can connect with others who have shared similar experiences, helping to reduce isolation and build a sense of community. The programme is about meeting people where they are and supporting them at their own pace, with no pressure or expectations.”
