Police say a 25-year-old man missing from Sidmouth since Monday afternoon (October 23) has been found safe.
Police appealed publicly for information to locate Edward Trevett, aged 25, who was last seen in the town at around 3.30pm, because they were ‘growing increasingly concerned’ for his welfare.
Devon and Cornwall Police on Wednesday (October 25) announced the man from the Sidmouth area had been found ‘safe’ and thanked the public for their help in their bid to find the missing 25-year-old.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Edward Trevett, 25, who had been reported missing from the Sidmouth area on Monday 23 October, has been found safe.
“We would like to thank members of the public for their help.”
Earlier this week, police investigating the disappearance of the 25-year-old launched an appeal for information releasing a description and photo of the missing man, believing him to be in the East Devon area.
The public appeal urged anyone spotting the missing man, or who knew of his whereabouts, to contact them immediately.
