Monthly summer food markets promise to bring global flavours to Seaton

Global flavours are on the menu for the return of the monthly summer Seaton Eats Boutique street food markets, which began in May.

Monthly dates have been announced for the Friday events being held in Jubilee Gardens, Seaton, with the next street food market being organised for June 3, from 4pm until 9pm, or sunset. Entry is free.

Further markets are also planned for July 1, August 5 and September 2.

New for 2022 is the launch of Seaton Eats Boutique pop-up pub, The Salty Arms.

A spokesperson for the markets said: “Enjoy world cuisine made for you by local people, often using local ingredients.

“Our market directly supports up to 10 small businesses and a number more that supply us.

“By coming along to an event and making a purchase you are supporting all of these livelihoods.”

They added: “We’ll bring you global flavours, you bring your friends and join us on the Jurassic coast in a ritual as old as time.

“What’s more, Seaton Eats Boutique is free to enter because we feel that everyone should be invited to the finest table in town under the big Devon sky.

“This year we’ll be launching our pop up pub The Salty Arms, as well as raising a glass to Her Majesty on 3 June with her favourite tipple.”

Each market event menu is published through its social media pages, or sign up to receive one by email.
