A woman left with an injured face after she fell on the coast path near Beer beach on Saturday lunchtime (May 7) was helped to safety by coastguards.
Beer Coastguard Rescue Team was called to Whitecliff, east of the beach, at around 1pm where they helped the injured woman to a waiting ambulance.
The Coastguard team treated the injured woman at the scene before she was left with an ambulance crew.
A a Coastguard spokesperson said: “A lady tripped and fell on the coast path east of Beer, sustaining a facial injury.
“We located the lady, gave initial treatment, and helped her walk down to the ambulance which had arrived shortly after we got on scene.”
