Police locate missing Vivienne, 78, from Sidmouth, and thank public for their help

Police who issued an appeal for help to find a 78-year-old woman reported missing from the Sidmouth area said she has been found ‘safe’.

Devon and Cornwall Police appealed for public help to find Vivienne Greenland, who was last seen in the All Saints Road area of Sidmouth on Thursday afternoon (April 21).

Police thanked all those who had contacted the force with information to help locate the missing woman.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said:  “Vivienne Greenland, 78, who had been reported missing from the Sidmouth area yesterday [21 April], has been found safe by police.

“We would like to thank members of the public for their help.”
