Police appeal after ‘several incidents’ of vehicle theft in Pinhoe, Exeter

Police investigating ‘several incidents’ in which vehicles were stolen in Pinhoe, Exeter, have issued and appeal for CCTV and dashcam footage.

Both domestic and commercial premises have been targeted – with crooks striking in Sanders Road on April 12 and Main Road on March 27.

Officers have also issued a security plea to businesses.

A force spokesperson said: “Police are investigating several incidents of vehicle theft which recently happened in Pinhoe and are asking anyone with CCTV and dashcam footage to come forward.

“Both commercial and domestic premises were targeted. The first incident took place at a commercial premises on Main Road, Pinhoe, at around 11pm on Sunday, March 27.

“The second incident happened at a domestic premises on Sanders Road in the early hours of Tuesday, April 12.

“Police would like to hear from any businesses or dwellings in the area who may have information and/or CCTV or dashcam footage.”

The spokesperson added: “Police are also reminding businesses to ensure that their premises and vehicles are secure at all times and to strongly consider installing good quality CCTV if they have not already done so.”
