A 32-year-old man has been left with potentially life changing injuries, and a 22-year-old was seriously injured after a car flipped onto its roof in Honiton High Street.
Police are appealing for witnesses to Sunday night’s crash (April 3) in Honiton High Street, where a car ended up on its roof after a collision involving several parked cars.
Devon and Cornwall Police want to hear from witnesses or anyone who has CCTV of the crash.
Two men were taken to hospital and their families informed.
The collision happened at around 11.45pm in Honiton High Street, police said.
The High Street was closed for several hours while officers from the Roads Policing Team investigating the collision carried out a forensic examination of the area.
The vehicle was recovered from the scene, police said.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at around 11.45pm on Sunday 3 April to the High Street, Honiton, following reports of a collision.
“Police, Fire and Ambulance services attended the scene where it was reported that a car had been in collision with a number of parked cars and come to rest on its roof.
“A 32-year-old man sustained potentially life-changing injuries and a 22-year-old man sustained serious injuries.
“They were both taken to hospital and their families informed.
“The High Street was closed to allow for a forensic examination of the scene and recovery of the vehicle.”
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are appealing for witnesses to come forward, or anyone with CCTV covering the incident. Call police on 101, quoting log 964 of 3 April 2022.
