Police appeal for information after turbo bike worth more than £5,000 is stolen in overnight burglary from garage near Honiton

An electric turbo bicycle worth more than £5,000, stolen from a garage near Honiton, has prompted the police to appeal for witnesses and information.

Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating a report of an overnight burglary to a garage in Kennedy Way, on the Highfield Industrial Estate, in Dunkeswell, near Honiton,

Officers said the property was targeted sometime between 10pm on Tuesday, March 8 and 8.20am the following morning.

The stolen turbo bike, red, black and yellow in colour, is described as an electric Specialized Levo, with serial number WSBC601025911M.

Anyone who has been offered a similar electric bike for sale is asked to contact police.

Investigating officers are keen to hear from anyone with information, or CTTV footage from the area.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information in connection with a report of burglary to a garage of a property in Kennedy Way, Highfield Estate Dunkeswell, Honiton.

“This took place sometime between 10pm on Tuesday 8 March and 8.20am on Wednesday 9 March.

“An electric pedal cycle was stolen which is described as an electric Specialized Levo – red, black and yellow in colour, with serial number WSBC601025911M.”
