Police appeal for witnesses and CCTV footage after overnight burglary at business in Honiton

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and CCTV footage after a wheelbarrow and fence posts worth around £400 were stolen overnight from a business in Honiton.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the culprits targeted a yard in the Border Road area of Heathpark Industrial Estate sometime between midnight and 2.30am on Saturday, September 11.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard something suspicious, or knows the whereabouts of the stolen items.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information in connection with a report of burglary to a yard of a business in the area of Border Road, Heathpark Industrial Estate, Honiton.

“This took place sometime between midnight and 2.30am on Saturday 11 September 2021.

“Anyone with information or CCTV in the area is asked to phone 101 or email.”
