A young child who fell from a first-floor window in Honiton High Street earlier this month has been discharged from hospital, police said.
Police said a local man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of child neglect and released on bail to return on September 2, pending further enquries.
Officers were called to a Honiton town centre property at around 11.35am on Sunday, August 8, and a child was airlifted to Bristol Children’s Hospital and treated for a head injury.
Police said the child was reported to be in a stable condition and later discharged from hospital.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “A local man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of child neglect and released on police bail, to return on Thursday 2 September, pending further enquiries.”
