Vandalism to cars in Exmouth prompts police to call for CCTV footage and witnesses

A spate of vandalism to car wing mirrors in Exmouth has prompted police to appeal for witnesses and information.

Police said car wing mirrors were damaged under the cover of darkness on Friday, July 2, while the vehicles were parked in Pound Lane, in Withycombe Raleigh, Exmouth.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone with CCTV footage from the area, or who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in Pound Lane at the time of the vandalism.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information in connection with a report of criminal damage to vehicles which were parked in Pound Lane, Exmouth.

“Damage was caused to wing mirrors.

“This took place sometime between 10pm and 11pm on Friday 2 July.

“Anyone with information or CCTV in the area is asked to make contact by phoning 101 or emailing.”
