Exmouth RNLI rescues stricken paddleboarders from sea off Budleigh Salterton

A pair of stricken paddleboarders near Budleigh Salterton were rescued by the RNLI after getting into difficulty at sea.

Concern was raised for the female duo, spotted close to Otterton Ledge, at around 7.15pm on Wednesday, May 26.

Exmouth RNLI launched its inshore lifeboat within minutes and swiftly located the casualties.

They were uninjured and taken to safety.

The Exmouth Coastguard team was also tasked to the rescue.
