Drivers ‘lucky to escape’ without injury after two cars overturn near Axminster

Police said drivers were ‘lucky’ to escape without serious injury after two cars crashed and overturned near Axminster.

Officers were called to the A3558 between Musbury and Axminster shortly before 8.30pm on Monday (May 10).

The Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing team said it was the second crash in a week at Musbury.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing said both drivers were ‘lucky to escape’ with minor injuries after the latest crash.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokeswoman said: “Police received a report at around 8.25pm on Monday 10 May about a two-vehicle collision on the A358 between Axminster and Musbury involving both cars overturning.

“There were no injuries.”
