Police bail teenagers arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Exeter

Three teenagers arrested on suspicion of attempted murder of an 18-year-old man in Exeter have been released on police bail.

Officers were called to an address in Lancelot Road, Beacon Heath, at around 11.30pm on Tuesday, April 27, where they found a teenager with serious injuries, who was taken to Derriford Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

A 17-year-old man from Cranbrook, a 17-year-old male from Exeter and an 18-year-old male, also from Exeter, all believed to be known to the victim, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and bailed pending further enquiries.

Anyone who may have information to help the police investigation is asked to get in touch.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Officers from the local investigation team are working closely with major crime detectives and neighbourhood officers on the investigation and community reassurance.”
