Third teen arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with Exeter attack

Police have arrested a third teenager on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with an attack on an 18-year-old man in Beacon Heath, Exeter.

Officers were called to a property in Lancelot Road at around 11.30pm on Tuesday, April 27.

The victim was found with serious head and leg injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth where he remains in a serious condition.

Police have now arrested a third male, a 17-year-old from Exeter, who is also believed to be known to the victim…

A force spokesperson said today: “Police arrested a 17-year-old male from Cranbrook and an 18-year-old male from Exeter, who are believed to be known to the victim, on suspicion of attempted murder. They remain in police custody while enquiries continue.

“Police have now arrested a third male, a 17-year-old from Exeter, who is also believed to be known to the victim, on suspicion of attempted murder, and he is in police custody this morning.

“Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have information which could assist police enquiries is asked to contact police on 101 or via email on 101@dc.police.uk and quote crime reference number CR/033748/21.”
