Firefighters were called into action when high winds damaged the roof of a building in Budleigh Salterton town centre.
Crews from Exmouth and an aerial ladder platform from Exeter were needed after gusts loosened a large area of felt atop the premises on Thursday evening, February 11.
They cut away loose and unsafe materials.

An Exmouth Fire Station spokesperson said: “Red Watch were mobilised to a dangerous structure in Budleigh Salterton this evening.
“It had become dangerous because of the high winds.
“A large area of roof felt had come loose.
“Exmouth on-call were requested to support the incident, as was the aerial ladder platform from Exeter.
“Crews cut away the loose and unsafe materials and left the scene safe.”
