Police seek people in park in Exeter who saw young girl missing from home

Police are appealing for people to get in touch who were in Pinces Gardens, St Thomas, Exeter, at around midday on Sunday, January 17.

Officers are trying to piece together the movements of a young girl who went missing from her home and went to the small park, which is between Barton Fields and Alphington Road. She returned home later that day.

Police are keen to hear from a man and a woman who were with two girls, who had a bike with them, who they believe could help.

Devon and Cornwall Police said no one was under suspicion and the appeal was to find someone who had seen the girl.

A police spokesperson said: “Police would like to reiterate that no one is being sought as a suspect, only in the hope that someone may have seen the child.”
