Devon and Cornwall Police said a drone was spotted over the St James area of the city on Monday, December 14, in York Road – a known residential street.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the remote controlled drone being flown.
They are appealing for public help identifying drones seen flying over built-up areas.
