A man in his 50s was airlifted to hospital suffering serious leg injuries on Tuesday evening (November 17) after a car and a cyclist were involved in a crash at Sidbury.
Police said the crash happened at around 7.30pm on Sidbury Hill, closing the road for several hours.
The air ambulance flew the casualty to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
The road was reopened at around midnight, police said.
A Devon and Cornwall Police spokeswoman said: “Police were informed of a collision between a car and a cyclist on Sidbury Hill, Sidbury, yesterday evening at about 7.30pm.
“The air ambulance took a man in his 50s to Derriford Hospital with serious leg injuries.
“Road closures were put in place until around midnight.”
