A blaze in an agricultural building in Exmouth on Monday morning (October 12) was tackled by two crews from the town.
Exmouth firefighters were called to Hulham Road shortly before 7.30am where they found smoke and flames coming from the small storage building.
The fire service said half the building suffered smoke damage.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “On arrival crews confirmed that smoke and flames were issuing.
“The single-storey building measured approximately eight meters by three meters and was used for storage.
“Five per cent of the building was damaged by fire and fifty per cent damaged by smoke.”
The fire service spokesperson added: “To deal with the incident crews used one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation fan.”[asp_product id=”17531”]
