Cranbrook Football Club sit third in the early-season Joma Devon and Exeter League Division Two East table after a 10-0 victory at Axmouth United.
In a powerful all-round show, Dan MacDonald and Reece Saunders each scored a treble while there was a first goal for the club Stephen O’Connor.
Tom Taylor and Paddy O’Loughlin were also on the scoresheet and the other was courtesy of an own goal.

Cranbrook boss Jon Martin was very pleased with the win, adding: “They (Axmouth) were clearly understrength, but you can only beat what is put before you.
“It was not a great day, certainly in terms of folk watching the action, but the elements, and their superb set up at Lyme Regis, meant it was actually really good to play in!
“We made a good start, but the seemed to forget how to do what we do best, but once we got our mojo back, we were flying.
“I was delighted with the manner in which we scored out goals.”
The Cranbrook FC boss had praise for the hosts, of whom he said: “Let’s give them [Axmouth United] due credit, they might have been missing some senior lads, but they battled well and were competitive from first whistle to last.”
On Saturday (October 10), Cranbrook are in home action when they entertain Millwey Rise at the Cranbrook Education Campus (3pm kick-off).
