The Southern Road outfit’s first-team were due to face Plymouth Parkway on Wednesday night (October 7) in a top-of-the-table Toolstation Western League Premier game.

They were then set to travel to Sherborne Town on Saturday (October 10) in an FA Vase tie.

But the club’s Covid-19 manager Bob Chard said in a statement issued today (Tuesday): “As a result of a positive Covid-19 test within the Exmouth Town squad we have notified the Western League and the FA.

“The Western League have advised that we must postpone the forthcoming games against Plymouth Parkway and Sherbourne Town.

“A decision regarding the Tavistock game will be made nearer the time.

“The squad have been informed and advised to take appropriate actions regarding self-isolating and seek medical advice if symptoms develop.

“We will also be in touch with Bradford Town to advise them of the situation.”

Town were 6-1 winners at Bradford on Saturday.

Exmouth are due to face Tavistock on Wednesday, October 14.
