Jane Cordy, Budleigh library supervisor, said: “Congratulations to Isobel and Henry, who have both completed Book Track recently, which means they have read, and talked about, one hundred books – either in person or by email.

“They were both presented with their gold badges and certificates and Mike Hilliar, the mayor of Budleigh Salterton, gave them both an extra gift of a £30 book token each to celebrate their reading prowess.”

She added: “Book Track is a Devon Library reading scheme which awards children for reading and discussing up to one hundred books.”
