Exmouth Town FC to kick off Toolstation Western League campaign with trip to Plymouth Parkway

Exmouth Town Football Club begin a new Toolstation Western League campaign with a midweek game at old foes Plymouth Parkway.

The sides met in the early stages of last season where Town were edged out 1-0.

Exmouth actually begin their competitive action with a September 1 FA Cup tie at fellow Toolstation League outfit Keynsham Town.

Eight days later they will travel to Parkway for a September 7 (7.45pm kick-off) fixture.

The first home game of the new league term is the week after with another midweek game, a Wednesday, September 16, meeting with Tavistock.

The first Saturday home game for Town is not until the visit of Shepton Mallet on Saturday, October 10.

There are just six Saturday league matches scheduled for Southern Road before the Boxing Day game with Buckland Athletic.

The other home games, after the Shepton Mallet fixture, are: October 24 versus Hallen; October 31 versus Keynsham Town; November 21, versus Roman Glass St George, November 28, versus Westbury United and December 19, versus Clevedon Town.

The Boxing Day game, which is also a Saturday date, is against Buckland Athletic with that one being played at Southern Road (3pm).

The final Southern Road league game of the 20/21 league term is set to be a May 8 meeting with Street.

Town complete the season with a May 15 visit to Westbury United.

The busiest month, in terms of league action, is October, which sees Town in action seven times while there are only three games set for February and four in the months of November, December and March.
