Are these your belongings? Suspected stolen items seized as part of Sidmouth burglary investigation

Detectives in East Devon are asking residents if they recognise these suspected stolen items after they were seized as part of a burglary investigation in Sidmouth. 

Police hope hope to reunite the belongings pictured  – which include a gold chain, ring, photo negative and tools – with their potential owners.

Officers do not know where the items originate from.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said this afternoon (Friday, July 3): “Police would like to reunite the suspected stolen items pictured with their potential owners.

“The items have been seized as part of a burglary investigation in the Sidmouth area.

“It is not known where they originate from.

“They include a gold link chain, a white metal ring with a purple stone, a negative of a photograph featuring two unknown males, and various tools.

“A 28-year-old woman from the Gloucestershire area has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and released under investigation while enquiries continue.

“If you recognise any of the items, email 101@dc.police.uk, quoting reference CR/047517/20.”
