Increase in graffiti in Axminster sparks police appeal for help

A rise in vandalism in Axminster has prompted the local police team to appeal for information.

Devon and Cornwall Police said there had been an increase of graffiti around the town, with the culprits tagging property with letters or initials.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to contact police on 101.

Chris Bolsover, PCSO for Axminster, said: “There has been an increase in the amount of graffiti in and around the Axminster area, particularly the tag EMA and EMT being put on a number of signs.”
