Police hunt ‘teen with eyebrow piercing’ after woman is robbed of cash and jewellery at knifepoint in the street in Exeter

Police are hunting a knife-wielding robber with a pierced eyebrow who stole cash and jewellery from a woman in the street in Exeter.

The 20-year-old victim was walking along Heavitree Road when she was targeted by a male, believed to be in his late teens, at around 5.45pm on Wednesday, February 5.

Officers have issued an appeal for witnesses and information.

The woman was walking towards Waitrose, past new student accommodation close to the bus stop, when the man demanded money and threatened her with a penknife, robbing her of cash and jewellery…

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “Soon after turning right on to Heavitree Road from Polsloe Road, a 20-year-old woman was approached by a man.

“The woman was walking towards Waitrose, past new student accommodation close to the bus stop, when the man demanded money and threatened her with a penknife, robbing her of cash and jewellery.

“He made off in the uphill direction of Magdalen Road and Polsloe Road.

“The suspect is described as being a white male, around 18 or 19 years old and 6ft in height, with a piercing to his right eyebrow.

“He was wearing a dark-coloured hooded top and dark jeans.

“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information which could assist police enquiries is asked to call 101 quoting crime reference number CR/010702/20.”
