Know your donkey data this half term with Top Trumps trail on at Sidmouth sanctuary

Play games of donkey Top Trumps at Sidmouth this February half term and find out who has the loudest bray, longest ears or is most playful.

The Donkey Sanctuary is inviting families to take part in its Top Trumps trail, where adoption animals have been scored and donkey data collated. The fun includes following a trail of Top Trump cards set around the sanctuary.

Each trail costs £3.50 and includes a prize and certificate on completion.

The charity said the trail was a chance to explore the sanctuary, see donkeys and have outdoor fun.

The adoption donkey Top Trumps trail runs until March 26 at the Sidmouth sanctuary.

A spokesman for The Donkey Sanctuary said: “Follow the trail to find the giant Top Trumps cards located around the sanctuary and reveal which adoption donkey comes out on top in each round.

“Each adoption donkey has been scored against nine different donkey stats with the aim of the game to find out who trumps whom in each head-to-head round.”

He added: “This entertaining family activity is the perfect way to explore the sanctuary, combining fun, exercise and brainpower.”

Entry and parking at the sanctuary is free. Dogs on leads are welcome.

All proceeds help fund the work of The Donkey Sanctuary Worldwide.
