The Thelma Hulbert Gallery has the following programme of exhibitions and events from now until the end of February:

Thursday, January, 30: 1.30pm-3pm Early years workshop. Drop in for a fun creative session for babies and toddlers. Free

Saturday, February, 1: 10.30am-12.30pm / 1.30pm-3.30pm. Comic Book Workshop, Suitable for ages 11+£10/£8 THG Friends

Friday, February 14: 10.30am-2pm / 1pm-2.30pm. Love letters to the landscape – Valentine’s Special Write a love letter to the landscape with our resident poet. £10/£8 THG Friends

Saturday, February 15/Saturday, February 22: 11am-3pm. Half term family workshops. Free drop-in art sessions. Create your own nature-based artwork. Free

Saturday, February, 22: 3pm-5pm: opening event for Artist Rooms – Richard Long ‘Being in the Moment’.

Thursday, February, 27: 1.30pm-3pm: Early years workshop. Drop in for a fun creative session for babies and toddlers. Free

Friday, February, 28 6pm-8pm: Curator’s talk. THG Curator, Ruth Gooding, will discuss THG’s 2020 programme of Culture & Climate. Free.

Exhibitions

Open Arms Exhibition (until February 8): featuring work by members of Open Arms East Devon, a mental health support group

South West Academy Exhibition (until February 8): selling exhibition of painting, photography, sculpture and original prints by members of the South West Academy

Artist Rooms: Richard Long ‘Being in the Moment’ (February 22-May 23), Tuesday – Saturday, 10am-5pm. Thelma Hulbert Gallery and Artist Rooms bring the work of the renowned British sculptor and land artist, Richard Long, to East Devon. The exhibition by this Turner Prize-winning artist will feature photography, sculpture, text, drawings, maps and diagrams, charting his unique investigation into landscape.
