Topsham Rotary Club quiz night aids Pete’s Dragons’ charity work with suicide bereaved

Quiz night funds raised by the Rotary Club of Topsham were presented to Pete’s Dragons, for its work with the suicide bereaved.

Bruce de Saram handed a cheque over at Pete’s Dragons charity shop, Retail Therapy, in The Strand, Exmouth, on behalf of the Rotary Club of Topsham.

The Rotary Club of Topsham quiz nights are held at Nancy Potter House, Topsham.

Marie Frankum, club president, said the Rotarians were  ‘delighted’ to help Pete’s Dragons.

She said: “The club felt so pleased to have supported such a worthwhile and respected charity.

“We know that this donation will go towards improving the lives of those most in need in the community.”

She added: “The quiz was well supported and was a really enjoyable and fun night out.”
