The Honiton Bowlers have had good results in the Mixed Friendly matches played at home
Bowlers from Ottery visited Honiton with Honiton winning (73-65)
Top rink – J Mackintosh, B Cann, J Broom, D Hawkins (20-15)
The match between Honiton and Isca proved to be a close one with Honiton just beating Isca by one point (60-59).
Top rink – M Tyne, B Cann, G Osborne (30-9)
Honiton bowlers had a good win when the Nomads visited Honiton with a score of (113-48)
Top rink, who also scored a hot shot during the match – J Mitchell, C Jacob, T Cox (43-8)
Honiton Ladies visited Sidmouth to play a Friendly match. This proved to be a exciting match with the final score (53-52)
Top rink – J Granger, D Hawkins, H Chambers (19-16)
The Ladies also have played National and Devon County matches.
In the National Mason Trophy Honiton won against Torbay (42-25)
Top rink – C Barradell, D Hawkins, H Chambers, P Whitworth (24-6)
Honiton now play the next round against Isca on February 14.
In the Lane County match Honiton played Plymouth winning (76-35) gaining 8 points to Plymouth’s 2.
Top rink at home – R Sennitt, D Courtney, C Binmore (27-3)
Top rink away – C Ballum, M Parsons, M Bright (29-8)
In the County Foxlands match Honiton lost to Madeira (78-81) . Honiton gaining 6 points having won on three rinks to Madeira’s 4.
