Honiton firefighters to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK after colleague’s diagnosis

Firefighters in Honiton are to stage a fundraising car wash for Prostate Cancer UK.

The event, taking place at the fire station on January 19, has been organised in support of a colleague and friend who was recently diagnosed with the cancer.

All the money raised will be donated to the charity, which funds vital research into prostate cancer and supports those diagnosed with the condition. It also raises awareness about prostate cancer so more men can receive life-saving treatment.

Firefighters from other stations across East Devon are also raising money for the cause.

The car wash will run from 10am to 3pm – just turn up.
