Christmas shoppers looking for unique and unusual gifts will find inspiration at the Escot House Artisan Fair on Saturday, November 23.
This is event’s second year; its debut in 2018 was declared a resounding success.
It is organised by Helen Bottrill, of The Creative Business Network, which encourages artisans and crafters in the region.
Helen said: “We have such a wonderful array of makers locally and Escot House is the perfect venue for them to showcase their wares.
“By shopping for Christmas at Escot, people will have the chance to purchase beautiful, quirky gifts whilst showing support for smaller, independent businesses at the same time.”
Around 20 traders will be selling a selection of stunning candles, glassware, homewares and gifts, mugs, soft furnishings, prints and cards, hats and gloves, jewellery and ceramics.
Refreshments on offer will include real winter warmers like pizzas, soup and Chunk of Devon pasties as well as homemade cakes, tea, coffee and mulled wine.
The Artisan Fair will be open from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free and there is plenty of free parking next to the house.
Families wanting to make a day of it can visit neighbouring attraction Wildwood with its winding woodland paths, adventure play and resident animals. Last entry to Wildwood is 3pm.
