Police say missing Exeter pensioner has been found safe and well

Police searching for a missing pensioner from Exeter say he has been found safe and well.

Devon and Cornwall Police last week released images and a description of Robert ‘Bob’ Chapman, aged 76, and his car, after officers became concerned for the pensioner’s welfare.

Officers thanked the public for their help in the search, saying the 76-year-old has been located.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said: “Robert ‘Bob’ Chapman, 76, who had been reported missing from Exeter, has been found safe and well.

“Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.”
