Richard Caton Woodville (1856-1927) was an English artist and illustrator, best-known for being one of the most prolific and effective painters of battle scenes in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Twenty-one of his paintings are in the Royal Collection. A further 23 have been exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
Brian’s presentation will include excellent images of many of the paintings.
Organised by the Friends of Fairlynch Museum in Budleigh, light refreshments will be available.
