New ‘royals’ to be crowned in Honiton on Saturday

There is a right royal occasion happening in Honiton this Saturday (October 19) – and you are invited.

This year’s carnival royals will be officially named and crowned in a ceremony in the Mackarness Hall. The event will take place at 11am during the carnival week launch event – a table top sale, starting at 9am.

The sale has become the traditional starting point for activities leading up to the grand carnival procession.

Honiton and District Carnival has made this a popular and busy event, attracting a wide range of sellers.

If you fancy taking a table, you are not too late. Call Karen on 07951 438598.

Many people have commented on memories of the carnival’s traditional Spot the Object competition. It’s happening again this year – from October 19 to 27. Entry forms from the Little Shop of Seasons for £1.
