Firefighters dealt with an arson attack on a speed camera in the early hours of today (October 11).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service says it received a report that a speed camera was on fire at 4.40am.
The location of the camera was Pinn Hill, Exeter, and a fire crew from Middlemoor attended the scene.
A spokesperson for the fire service said the blaze was extinguished using one hose reel jet.
“This is believed to be deliberate ignition,” the spokesperson added.
