Witness appeal after spate of late-night burglaries in Seaton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a spate of late night burglaries in Seaton. 

They are hunting a white male aged between 40 and 60.

In two of the three reported incidents, the intruder was disturbed. In all cases, the burglar is thought to have left empty-handed.

Devon and Cornwall Police say a property in Townsend Road was entered between 11pm on Saturday, September 14 and 1am on Sunday, September 15. The suspect was disturbed and left. Nothing has been reported stolen from the address.

A second property, in Seaton Down Road, was entered at approximately 12.30am on Sunday, September 15. Again, the intruder was disturbed and did left the scene empty-handed.

The third property to be targeted was in Case Gardens. It was entered at approximately 1am, also on Sunday, September 15. Again, no items were taken.

A police spokesperson said: “Please be wary of this and secure doors and windows at all times.”
