Bruv’s Bar thanks friends and family for their support ahead of tonight’s opening

Honiton’s newest bar was put through its paces last night – at a private party held to thank the owners’ friends and family for their unstinting support.

Bruv’s Bar, in High Street, will open at 7pm tonight (Friday, September 20). The first 50 people through the door will get a free Sourz Shot drink.

The Hagon family hosted last night’s event to ‘celebrate everyone’s hard work over the last few months’.

In a statement to East Devon News.co.uk, they said: “We’re really excited to open to everyone for our launch party tonight at 7pm.”

Laced DJs, who for years had a residency at The Dance Academy, Union Street, Plymouth, will provide music.

The venue, formerly Bar 102, has undergone extensive refurbishment and now boasts a contemporary industrial theme.

Jim ‘Bruv’ Hagon is launching the bar with wife Sharon, son Reece, daughter Shannon and Reece’s wife, Lauren.
