Batteries stolen in burglary at Wilmington recycling centre

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a recycling centre in Wilmington.

Batteries were stolen during the break-in, which happened over the Bank Holiday weekend.

A police spokesperson said the burglary occurred on Saturday (August 24) and appealed for anyone who may have been offered batteries to come forward.

Police especially want to hear from anyone who has come across batteries and are not sure of their origin.
