Teenager is arrested in connection with Exmouth daylight assault

Detectives in Exmouth investigating a daylight attack on a man in Brixington have arrested a teenager in connection with the incident.

Devon and Cornwall Police said a man was punched in the face through his car window at 12.30pm on Tuesday, August 13, at Dukes Crescent onto Prince of Wales Drive, Exmouth.

Police said he suffered serious injuries, including deep lacerations and a facial fracture.

Investigating officers at Exmouth CID say they have arrested a 19-year-old man from Exmouth.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: “A 19-year-old man from Exmouth has since been arrested in connection with this matter and later released under investigation pending further enquires.”
