Battle of the Buskers: bring a picnic and blanket to Cadhay House

Cadhay Fete is more than just a… fete. This year’s fund-raising event, taking pace on Saturday (August 24), will actually start the night before. Tomorrow (Friday) supporters of Ottery St Mary’s parish church will stage a Battle of the Buskers – and you are invited.

Taking place at Cadhay House, Ottery St Mary, the event will see 10 bands go head to head.

There is a huge prize of £500 up for grabs and you, the audience, will decide who wins.

This fabulous buskers’ event is open to anyone aged 10 and over and will take place from 7pm to 10pm. Gates open at 6pm.

Bring your own picnic blanket, food and drink – although food and drink will be available on-site.

Tickets are available on the gate priced £10 for adults and £5 for anyone aged between 10 and 16.

Advance tickets for Battle of the Buskers are available from the Curious Otter Bookshop in Ottery St Mary.

The fete itself will take place in the stunning grounds of Cadhay House from 11am on Saturday – with proceeds benefiting Ottery St Mary Parish Church.

Offering all the fun of a traditional fete, this event is for people of all ages.
